This must be sign that the apocolypse is nearly upon us: It could snow here in Vancouver over the next few days. It's probably going to be mild and wet in Montreal (where I will be Monday through Wednesday - to be explained below). I will most likely miss what little snow we get here on the left coast. I will get to enjoy what little rain (I don't know.. I'm not the weather man or nothing) Montreal gets this time of year.
Anywho, to the point. I'm off to Montreal on Monday to see the Canucks play the Canadiens. It's going to be sweet. You might be wondering how this came about.. well.. my buddy Mike ended up winning the second intermission contest he was entered in.. and voila. Not only was that SUH-weet, but the 'nucks won 5-4 in OT.
I couldn't be happier.
Well, maybe if I had a nice, big glass of Egg Nog right this minute.

Now to say that I am a Canucks fan is an understatement. I'll admit that I'm not one of the crazed, psychotic ones, but I'm committed. I have been on the bandwagon since I can remember. I've cheered them on whether they were winning, or for more years than I would like to remember, playing like the Cannots.
Anywho, more to the point, I'll be at the game tomorrow night. Retro Night against the Canadiens. You know, where the Canucks will be wearing their retro original jerseys. And not only that, I'll be sitting up high in the press box, only feet away from Brian Burke and the boys. Now I wish that this was something that I could claim was my doing, however, that would be doing my buddy Mike and injustice. He's the one with the sports trivia knowledge that wins him everything you could imagine.
So if you're watching the game on the tube, look for me up there in the box. I'll be the one who looks like he's died and gone to heaven.

It's been a few days since my last post. Not that I think that anyone out there is actually paying attention, but hey.. at least I am keeping myself company. =)
Anywho, just bought myself a Dell Inspiron Laptop. It's nothing special, but it will allow me more flexibility in my 'puter usage and will allow me to devote more time to my site, etc.
I plan on sitting down to learn some code and design something more respectable. Any ideas? Why not let me know?

Today I took in Matrix: Revloutions. I left the theatre thoroughly impressed. With the price of movies these day, I don't often say that I am thinking the money was well spent, but this is one of the few.
Narf.
Anywho, I then proceeded to the local watering hole to take in the Monday Night Football game (and to toss back a wobbly or two). You see, I'm in this NFL Pool there and I was having a great weekend. And I would have done much better had the Packers not revereted back to first half form and lost the game to the Eagles. How many fumbles? Something like six? *ouch*
I think I need some music to calm me down.

I wanna know.. what you're feeling. Tell me what's on your mind!
It's amazing what you can learn from listening to 80s music. Anywho, what's new out there in the wide, wide world? I haven't looked outside yet. Did we have good weather? I would imagine so.. isn't raining here on the left coast, so I would imagine it was nice everywhere else.
I have yet to see Matrix: Revolutions, although I did watch Matrix: Reloaded right now.. or did I get those backwards? I don't care, too lazy to go and check 'em out. Is it any good? I haven't heard anything surprisingly, although, from what I have read out there on the 'net.. getting some good reviews. Maybe I'll go see it tomorrow or Monday. Probably Monday.. need to get a loan from the bank to go to a movie these days.
Catch you on the next wave, dude.

Fish are fun. Well, maybe that's more of an understatement. Today my girlfriend and I went fish shopping. You see, she got herself a modest 20GAL aquarium that she's been prepping over the last week. And today was the big day.
Anywho, we didn't get any fish. And I see this as a good thing. You must understand.. she's already overjoyed she has an aquarium. Heck, she watches the bubbles. Bubbles that bring to her quite the feeling of happiness. This is an aquarium devoid of any visible life and she's all happy happy joy joy!
I'm glad that she has found something to keep her sane. I'm happy when she is happy. I just figure I might be bumped out of the picture when the fish do arrive.
Maybe we should stick with the bubbles.

So here I am. And here you are. Although I have playing with my various incarnations of websites over the last six years, I've never really gotten around to figuring out how to code 'em. Go figure.
Anywho, as you have probably already figured out - this will always be a work in progress. I'll probably learn new tricks every-so-often and will streamline this baby up the wazoo. However, 'till that time rolls around, I imagine you will be stuck with this shoddy hunk-a-junk.
Catch you on the next wave, totally.
